The SteamFast SF-226 Handheld Steam Cleaner offers a convenient way to steam clean and sanitize dirty areas and furniture around the house. This is a hand held cleaning device, lightweight, with easy grip handle, and has a 12.5-foot power cord allowing for complete cleaning flexibility.

The SteamFast SF-226 features a 900-watt heating system that can quickly heat water in less than three minutes. It only requires pure tap water thus eliminating the need for cleaning solutions, chemicals, and toxic sanitizing formulas. This is a very environment friendly device, safe for users, and will not leave chemical substances on surface areas.

The unit delivers up to 10 minutes of steady steam cleaning. It is ideal for cleaning and sanitizing tough dirt, grease, grime, and stains on carpets, rugs, furniture, upholstery, ovens, and slimy grills. It can also blast and remove molds on tiles and other hard surfaces.

I just purchased a previously owned townhome and needed to really clean the entire kitchen. I used an industrial grease remover and was unable to remove all the grime (YUK!!!). I had seen this product advertised and was skeptical; however, I was pleasantly surprised. The SteamFast SF-226 Handheld Steam Cleaner did an exceptional job. Following the use of the steamer, I was able to wipe down all surfaces in the kitchen. It worked great on the grout, stove-top, kitchen tile, floor tile, refrigerator, and woodwork. I highly recommend this little work horse!

While I've tested many similar appliances in the past because of my work, I have to admit that I finally found the worst one of the lot. Here are my thoughts on it and why I feel no one should make an investment on such a unit. 1) The unit delays a lot to produce a hot steam over 5minutes and once it does it never reaches very high heat which is essential to liquefy fat and other material for cleaning. 2) The pressure it releases the steam is very low, inadequate for any kind of pressure cleaning. 3) If you're using this as a scrubbing device thinks twice, the heads are very small for large surfaces, it do well on cleaning good small parts. The biggest downfall in my opinion is the heat/pressure, it simply doesn't cut it even for simple things such as getting rid of allergens in your bedding or removing stains from your kitchen appliances.

I just used this product yesterday on my shower doors. It worked great! My only complaint is that the reservoir is not large enough. I had to refill it a couple of times. There was a lot of mold on the doors! Hopefully the next time I clean the shower, it won't take three refills. I just love that I don't need to spray the showers with those chemicals. The steamfast does the job!!!
