This was a gift for my son. He absolutely loves it. He has 2 dogs and they leave paw marks on this wood floors. He told me his wood floors actually come clean when he uses the steamer. He has no complaints.

I did some internet "research" before buying this steamer. I bought the Shark steamer for my Mom for Christmas and liked it when I tried it out at her house. She continues to like it. This Eureka seemed to get better reviews online and was cheaper than the Shark. I didn't think I needed the accessories that came with the Shark - which just take up storage room. I have used my new Enviro Steamer for a few weeks now and find it does a good job on my tile floors.

I too, am a "get on your hands and knees" mop person...this enviro steamer does the same job and I feel like my floors are squeaky clean. I use it in the kitchen and on hardwood floors with no problem. The best part is that is uses no chemicals so I can feel a little better if my daughter eats something that has dropped on the floor!

I've had my unit for years and have used it on wood and tile floors. Love this!! I'm surprised that some people actually gave it a bad review. I'll definately purchase this unit again when it needs to be replaced and have recommended this unit to a lot of my friends. The only problem is the cost of replacement pads....I can't believe they cost so much. I just wash mine a lot and reuse them.

With massive arthritis and fake joints, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom floors was getting to be one of the most difficult things that I do. I treated my self to this product and was amazed with the results. clean floors and no extra pain. My son borrowed it to clean floors as they were moving out of their place and as my son put it - you just wave it over the floor and it is clean and looks great. I will be ordering another for my daughter-in-law when they get settled. With two small and messy boys she will work it to death. thanks for such a great product - I couldn't be happier with it.
