The Wagner 906 Power Steamer does not require chemical cleaning formulas. All you need is just pure tap water. I bought this unit mainly for removing wallpaper. It worked somewhat well for that. The directions state that you should score the wallpaper before steaming to allow the steam to get behind it. If you have a lot of wallpaper to remove, as I did, this step is very time consuming. However, I did try it initially because the wallpaper I was removing wouldn't come off with just the steamer alone. But I found that to score the wallpaper deep enough to allow steam to get behind it also scored the wall enough to damage it. I ended up peeling the printed layer off the wall first leaving the glue layer still on the wall. The steamer removes the glue layer flawlessly. Other types of cleaning is hit and miss. The nylon brush attachment that comes with it won't hold up for long. I assume I'll need to order more fairly soon. I was surprised that it cleaned most stains on my carpet pretty well. Bathtub/shower stains, not so well. I also found that the handle holder gets in the way of the water inlet and the wheels seem to be on the unit backwards as far as trying the pull the unit as you move around. Overall, I'm glad that I purchased the unit. I'm sure I'll find other things that it will clean well. I paid $90 for the unit, but was disappointed to find it at Costco last week for $70.

Great product. Same product as SteamFast and McCullough brand steams, though costs less. It does not have the triangular brush and instead has wallpaper remover. So far does great job of cleaning grout and upholstery and just as well as the Ladybug brand product my inlaws have. Only downside is you have to wait to cool it off before a refill, though reservoir has plenty of capacity for at least and hours worth of work...Overall great for the price.

Better than any other I've used. The water is heated sufficiently hot to actually create steam. Very easy to use. The small nozzle is especially effective in cleaning tile grout in bathrooms and tile floors. Holds enough water to not need constant refilling - able to get the job done.

I left my Bissel steam mop behind when I moved....bad idea! I have 4 cats and 2 kids so my house needs more attention than most. I was debating between this and just getting another floor mop. I am really glad I purchased this. My house sparkles (most of the time). I would actually give it 4.5 stars as my only real complaint is that the floor attachment is not my favorite feature of the machine. I will be buying another Bissel floor mop for that because it's faster and does a better job...it's what I mostly use it for. For everything else though I love it. The combo of the two will be the perfect cleaning pair. I would tell anyone to buy this product.

I tried a small steam cleaner before and was disappointed that the water ran out too fast due to the small capacity. This Wagner 905 1500-Watt on demand streamer is far more capable than those small steam cleaners. It has big water capacity to last for hours of cleaning work (long working time). The 1500-Watt is good to heat the water fast (minimum waiting time). The long hose is good for me to work on tight corners or high places (good mobility and flexibility). A lot accessories are included for various type of cleaning works (great versatility). Hot steam is a powerful way to clean so many different things. Especially, it's a non-chemical and non-destructive method. However, it has limitations. It's still not the best tool to clean heavy grease area like oven, stove top, grills. Those grease need much higher temperature to be melted down. No quite sure why people complains about the noise. When the strong steam comes out of a tiny nozzle, it will sure to create the sound. It's supposed to be this way. Storing this steamer is kind of challenging due to its long hose and many accessories. You might want to keep the original box, as the original box is the best container to store the steamer, its long hose, its long wire and all its accessories. In summary, a great versatile cleaning tool that each family should have one.
