The SteamFast SF-226 Handheld Steam Cleaner offers a convenient way to steam clean and sanitize dirty areas and furniture around the house. This is a hand held cleaning device, lightweight, with easy grip handle, and has a 12.5-foot power cord allowing for complete cleaning flexibility.

The SteamFast SF-226 features a 900-watt heating system that can quickly heat water in less than three minutes. It only requires pure tap water thus eliminating the need for cleaning solutions, chemicals, and toxic sanitizing formulas. This is a very environment friendly device, safe for users, and will not leave chemical substances on surface areas.

The unit delivers up to 10 minutes of steady steam cleaning. It is ideal for cleaning and sanitizing tough dirt, grease, grime, and stains on carpets, rugs, furniture, upholstery, ovens, and slimy grills. It can also blast and remove molds on tiles and other hard surfaces.

The product provides several attachments and accessories to make your clean-up task easier. It comes with powerful stem jet nozzles, long and short nylon utility brushes, brass brush, cloth cover, squeegee, extra steam nozzle and a measuring cup.

This steamer works really well for the price. It is great for getting stuff from tight places that you can not reach with a rag or sponge. However it is not very powerful so if it is a tough area that requires some muscle this steamer won't cut it. I do really like it for cleaning my bathroom, I have 4 boys and cleaning the bathrooms is always a disgusting job, this steamer gets places that were always impossible to reach. It also worked really well on removing some stickers that had been stuck on my son's bedroom furniture. I was hoping it would be able to do tougher jobs but for the price I can't complain.

This product is definitely a case of getting what you pay for. It does shoot steam but don't expect it to have the power of a Scunci Steamer. I have bought 3 Scunci Steamers and loved the results they gave but the trigger stopped working on all three. That's why I decided to pay less for a steamer this time. I am not as thrilled with the SteamFast as I was the Scunci. It doesn't have a hose and it doesn't shoot the steam like I would like it to. But on the positive side, it was half the price of the Scunci and the nozzle doesn't pop off shooting steam everywhere like the Scunci. I also like the measuring cup that came with the SteamFast better. All in all, it's a good product for what you pay for it.

This steamer/cleaner works well. Don't tilt the cleaner while using it or it'll drip. I use it to clean my bath, kitchen (especially inside the garbage disposal)..basically everything inside and outside my home that is waterproof. It leaves a fresh, clean scent w/o chemicals. Lastly, the customer service is wonderful. When I called to tell them that the cleaner they sent looked used (scratches and watermarks), they immediately sent out another one.

I had one similar to this for years, but it just stopped working. Perhaps I should have used distilled or purified water in it, but the previous unit didn't say anything about that. This newer model DID tell me it's best to use purified or distilled water (for the removal of the minerals that can destroy the steam chamber). Does not last terribly long with jobs, but it does the trick! Was able to steam out a sofa cushion (which had a stain on it ... blew that right out!), clean the kitchen fixtures and the bathroom. Overall, a good addition to the family. :)
