Aside from coming from a trusted brand name, the Hoover F7411-900 SteamVac Dual V Widepath Carpet Cleaner with Powered Handheld Tool is also a powerful cleaning equipment which has a 12-Amp motor. What the cleaner does is apply a solution, scrub the surface to be cleaned using its powerful motor, removing the hot tap water along with the cleaning solution.

The name of the product may be a mouthful, but functionalities like the Dual V technology allows the equipment to produce powerful suction along the path which needs to be cleaned while removing water at the same time. Meanwhile, the powered hand tool works great for cleaning stairs and furniture pieces with upholstery. The patented SpinScrub technology is also present – which enables the cleaner to gently loosen the dirt and clean all sides of the carpet. Very easy to assemble. Did an excellent job cleaning carpets. My daughter no longer is telling me I need to replace my 20 year old carpet. It is light beige and looks like new. This cleaner has done a better job than professional cleaners I have had come in. Both my son & daughter plan on purchasing this cleaner. I especially like being able to rinse the soap out of the carpet. It keeps the carpet clean much longer.

This carpet clean is great! I research the crap out of everthing before I buy, so I was skeptical. I cleaned the living room floor first (we just built our home 6 months ago- we have three small children) I could not believe our new carpet could be so dirty. I would swear they sabotaged the machine and hid dirty in it... Nope, this mahine really cleans that well. I was so excited I had to call my sister! I am not going to go over the pros and cons- other wonderful people have done this for you alreasy. I am just going to say if you purchase this machine, you will not be dissapointed. I have had NO problems with leaking like others have reported, and the craftsmanship seems of good quality to me.

I've owned this cleaner for about 4 years. It cleans carpets pretty well. You can easily tell which part of the carpet has been cleaned because it is so clean! The hand held tool doesn't work quite as well on the stairs, but it is better than nothing. I have used this cleaner once or twice a year for the last 4 years. Maybe it has been used a total of eight times. I have been VERY careful with the cleaning, handling and maintenance of this machine. It looks brand new, just like it just come out of the box. But I have had two problems with this machine: 1. The water tank cracked after the the third use. This was easily replaced at my local Hoover dealer but still, it cost about $40 to replace. 2. The last time I used it I noticed that the brushes were not spinning. I found that the gear box that spins the brushes was bound up and the turbine had a crack in it. I was able to clean and lube the gear box and glue the turbine back together. The brushes spin again, but it looks like I will have to shell out another $40+ for a turbine gearbox in the near future. So after 8 uses, I am out about $280. This is probably what I would have spent renting a cleaner 8 times at my local supermarket. But, that cleaner is an industrial strength cleaner and would probably do a better job cleaning my rugs. I would have no problem with this machine if it were more reliable, but I can't recommend it. When this machine dies for good, I won't buy another Hoover.

I recently received the Hoover steam vac and tried it out. It works very well and is easy to use. The two tank system and its greater suction does a much better job than the Oreck steam vac I had. Thanks!

This cleaner did a fantastic job. I live in an apartment and my carpet is 5 years old. Every the apartment has my carpet professionally cleaned. Last August they cleaned the carpet and within a month it looked just as awful as it had before the cleaning. It is a light beige and had a lot of stains on it. This cleaner made my carpet look like new. My daughter commented that it even looked better than when it was brand new. I really liked the rinse feature as it really got the soap out of the carpet after cleaning. It has been a montlh since I cleaned the carpet and it still looks good. The cleaner is easy to handle and I liked the seperate dispenser for the soap.
